The Berlin/Brandenburg metropolitan region (German: Metropolregion Berlin-Brandenburg) or capital region (German: Hauptstadtregion Berlin-Brandenburg) is one of eleven metropolitan regions of Germany, consisting of the entire territories of the state of Berlin and the surrounding state of Brandenburg.
