Cetinje is the centre of Cetinje Municipality. The city rests on a small karst plain surrounded by limestone mountains, including Mount Lovćen, the legendary mountain in Montenegrin historiography. Cetinje was founded in the 15th century and became a cradle of the culture of Montenegro.

1 de sept. de 2018 · Cetiña (Cetinje), la antigua capital de Montenegro era uno de los lugares que queríamos visitar desde Podgorica, así que a primera hora de la mañana salimos a la carretera. Escasos 40 kilómetros la separan de la capital por una carretera que quitando la salida de ésta, que se encuentra en obras, el resto está en muy buen estado.
