Charles William (9 November 1735 – 17 May 1803) was Prince of Nassau-Usingen from 1775 until his death. From 1797 until his death, he was also titular Prince of Nassau-Saarbrücken, however, Nassau-Saarbrücken was occupied by France during that period.

Charles, Prince of Nassau-Usingen (31 December 1712 – 21 June 1775), was Prince of Nassau-Usingen from 1718 to 1775. Family. Charles was born in Usingen, the son of William Henry of Nassau-Usingen and Countess Charlotte Amalia of Nassau-Dillenburg .

Under pressure from Napoleon, both counties merged to become the Duchy of Nassau on August 30, 1806, under joint rule of Prince Frederick August of Nassau-Usingen and his younger cousin Prince Frederick William of Nassau-Weilburg.

William Henry was the son of Prince Walrad of Nassau-Usingen and his wife, Catherine Françoise, comtesse de Croÿ-Roeulx
William Henry married on 15 April 1706 Charlotte Amalia (1680–1738), a daughter of Henry, Prince of Nassau-Dillenburg. They had nine children; five children died within the first year: Henry (1708–1708), Amélie (1709–1709), William (1710–1710), Louis (1714–1714) and Johanna (1715–1716). In 1707, William Henry founded the village of Wilhemsdorf, which was named after him. It was annexed by neighbouring Usingenin 1972.
Like his father, William Henry had a career in the Dutch army. In 1691, he became a captain. From 1701 to 1707, he was colonel of the Walloon Regiment. He was wounded in the Battle of Ekerenon 30 June 1703.
