Geography[edit] Nyon has an area, as of 2009, of 307.35 square kilometers (118.67 sq mi). Of this area, 129.16 km 2 (49.87 sq mi) or 42.0% is used for agricultural purposes, while 137.52 km 2 (53.10 sq mi) or 44.7% is forested.
