Sir John Hanmer, 1st Baronet (1590–1624) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons in 1624. Hanmer was the eldest son of Sir Thomas Hanmer , who was MP for Flintshire in 1593. He was a member of the Council of Wales and the Marches , and was a leader of the Puritan party.

Sir John Hanmer, 3rd Baronet (died August 1701) [1] was a Welsh politician who sat in the House of Commons at various times between 1659 and 1690. Hanmer was the son of Sir Thomas Hanmer, 2nd Baronet of Hanmer and his first wife Elizabeth Baker. In 1659, he was elected Member of Parliament for Flint in the Third Protectorate Parliament.
