The House of Dun is a National Trust for Scotland property in the parish of Dun, lying close to the edge of Montrose Basin and situated approximately halfway between the towns of Montrose and Brechin, in Angus, Scotland.

25 de ago. de 2022 · Built for David Erskine, 13th Laird of Dun, and designed in the Palladian style by renowned architect William Adam, House of Dun is the perfect example of a Georgian mansion house. Work began in 1730.

The House of Dun, listed grade A, comprises a rectangular block of two storeys, basement and attic. The advanced centre of the north front is treated as a triumphal arch, giant fluted pilasters carrying a moulded frieze surmounted by the cornice and blocking course.
