John Anderson Fry (born May 28, 1960) is an American academic administrator, currently serving as the president of Drexel University. Fry formerly served as president of Franklin & Marshall College. [citation needed] In 2024, he was elected to the American Philosophical Society.

Inauguration. President John A. Fry was inaugurated as Drexel University's fourteenth president on April 15, 2011. In August 2010, John Anderson Fry became the 14 th president of Drexel University. Since his arrival, President Fry has led Drexel in the redevelopment and expansion of its campus with Papadakis Integrated Sciences Building (PISB), Chestnut Square, Gerri C. LeBow Hall, and the Raymond G. Perelman Plaza.
