John William III, Duke of Saxe-Eisenach (17 October 1666 – 14 January 1729), was a duke of Saxe-Eisenach, and came from the Ernestine line of the House of Wettin. Life. John William III was born in Friedewald, the third son of John George I, Duke of Saxe-Eisenach and Johannetta of Sayn-Wittgenstein.
A sickly boy, he died in 1671 at only two years old, and John George became Duke of Saxe-Eisenach. Saxe-Eisenach assumed its final shape in 1672, following the death of Frederick William III of Saxe-Altenburg and the partition of his lands. Juan Guillermo III de Sajonia-Eisenach (Friedewald, 17 de octubre de 1666 - Eisenach, 14 de enero de 1729) fue un duque de Sajonia-Eisenach. Era el tercer hijo del duque Juan Jorge I de Sajonia-Eisenach y de Juana de Sayn-Wittgenstein. Su hermano gemelo, Maximiliano, falleció con dos años de edad.
