The Radio Hall Of Fame is a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing those who have contributed to the development of the radio medium throughout its history in the United States.
Announcing the selection of the 2022 Radio Hall of Fame nominees. The 24 nominees were determined by the Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee, with input from the radio industry and listeners. Voting for inductees begins Tuesday, June 22nd and runs through July 8th.
In 1990, Hal Jackson was the first minority inducted into the National Association of Broadcaster's Hall of Fame. In 1995, he became the first African-American inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame. In 2001 the Broadcast and Cable Hall of Fame inducted Jackson.
