Kommunestruktur i Norge viser utviklingen i antall norske kommuner fra 396 kommuner ble opprettet som formannskapsdistrikter 1. januar 1838. Det generelle mønsteret kan beskrives ved at det ble gjort et stort antall kommunedelinger fram til 1930; slik at antallet kommuner økte fra 392 til 747.
The counties form the first-level administrative divisions of Norway and are further subdivided into 356 municipalities (kommune, pl. kommuner / kommunar). The island territories of Svalbard and Jan Mayen are outside the county division and ruled directly at the national level.
These derive in part from divisions that preceded Norway's constitution in 1814 and independence in 1905. The counties also function as constituencies in elections for Parliament. The Municipalities, known in Norwegian as kommuner (singular kommune) of which there are 356.
