Prince George William of Hesse-Darmstadt (11 July 1722 – 21 June 1782) was a Prince of Hesse-Darmstadt. He was born in Darmstadt . Louis George Charles (German: Ludwig Georg Karl or Carl ), Prince of Hesse-Darmstadt (27 March 1749, Darmstadt - 26 October 1823, Darmstadt) was a German field marshal in the service of the Upper Rhenish Circle. He is also known in the primary and secondary sources as Prince Louis .
On 16 March 1748, she married Prince George William of Hesse-Darmstadt, the brother of the reigning Landgrave Louis IX of Hesse-Darmstadt in Heidesheim am Rhein. As Louis IX stayed almost exclusively in Pirmasens, she felt obliged, after the death of his wife in 1774, to represent the territory in the capital Darmstadt.
