Regent of Reuss Elder Line from 1902. Founder and Grand Master of the Princely Honour Cross (Fürstlich Reussisches Ehrenkreuz) in 1869. When his son Prince Heinrich XXVII was made regent of the Reuss Elder Line in 1902, the Honour Cross was extended to that state as well.
