Sir John Eliot, 1st Baronet (1736 – 7 November 1786) was a Scottish physician and Physician to the Prince of Wales.
Eliott baronets. The Eliott Baronetcy, of Stobs in the County of Roxburgh, is a title in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia. It was created on 3 December 1666 for Gilbert Eliott. [2] The second baronet was a member of the pre-union Parliament of Scotland. The third Baronet sat as Member of Parliament for Roxburghshire.

The son of Richard Eliot (1546 – 22 June 1609) and Bridget Carswell (c. 1542 – March 1617), he was born at Cuddenbeak, a farm on his father's Port Eliot estate in St Germans, Cornwall.
