There are twelve houses at Tonbridge School: seven boarding and five day houses. Each house has its own house colours. The houses, in order of foundation, are:
The School has seven boarding Houses and five day Houses, each with a complement of about 65 boys. The House system at Tonbridge retains a traditional strength and encourages the loyalty which grows from security within a close-knit community of manageable size.
For about 300 years, from 1553, the number of pupils at the school remained below a hundred. This number increased from 83 in 1843 to 447 by 1900. A total of 415 Old Tonbridgians died in the First World War and 301 in the Second World War. The School has seven boarding Houses and five day Houses.

Accommodation in the Boarding Houses places focus on communality for the younger boys and nurtures their development into a cohesive and supportive group of friends. As they boy becomes more senior, the have an increased amount of privacy and personal space.

The Judd School (often known simply as Judd) is an 11–18 voluntary aided, grammar school and sixth form in Tonbridge, Kent, England. It was established in 1888 at Stafford House on East Street in Tonbridge, where it remained for eight years before moving to its present location on Brook Street, in the south of the town.
The school became the coeducational Leigh Academy Tonbridge in September 2023. Houses. Hayesbrook has five houses (or teams, as the school calls them), all named after famous Athletes: Ali, Pelé, MacArthur, Redgrave, and Thompson. Ofsted. The school was classed as "Excellent" by Ofsted in 2005, 2008 and 2009.
