Vladislaus II or Vladislav II (c. 1110 – 18 January 1174) was the Duke of Bohemia from 1140 and then King of Bohemia from 1158 until his abdication in 1173. He was the second Bohemian king after Vratislaus II, but in neither case was the royal title hereditary.
Vladislaus II, also known as Vladislav, [1] [2] Władysław [3] or Wladislas [4] ( Hungarian: II. Ulászló; 1 March 1456 – 13 March 1516), was King of Bohemia from 1471 to 1516 and King of Hungary and of Croatia from 1490 to 1516. As the eldest son of Casimir IV Jagiellon, he was expected to inherit Poland and Lithuania.
Vratislaus II (or Wratislaus II) ( Czech: Vratislav II.) (c. 1032 – 14 January 1092), the son of Bretislaus I [1] and Judith of Schweinfurt, [2] was the first King of Bohemia as of 15 June 1085, [1] his royal title granted as a lifetime honorific from Holy Roman Emperor Henry IV that did not establish a hereditary monarchy. Biografía. Vladislao II era hijo de Casimiro IV de Polonia y de Isabel de Habsburgo de Hungría. Por lo tanto, era sobrino, por parte paterna, de Vladislao I de Hungría y, por parte materna, del rey Ladislao V de Hungría. Sucedió a Jorge de Poděbrady en el trono de Bohemia en 1471, puesto que su tío materno Ladislao también era rey checo (bohemio).
