Gräfin Charlotte Christine Magdalene Johanna von Hanau-Lichtenberg was born 2 May 1700 in Bouxwiller to Johann Reinhard III. von Hanau (1665-1736) and Dorothea Friederike von Brandenburg-Ansbach (1676-1731) and died 1 July 1726 Darmstadt of unspecified causes. She married Ludwig VIII. von Hessen-Darmstadt (1691-1768) 5 April 1717 in Philippsruhe.
