Scottish nobleman and politician / From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. James Graham, 8th Duke of Montrose, OStJ (born 6 April 1935), styled as the Earl of Kincardine until 1954 and the Marquess of Graham between 1954 and 1992, is a Scottish peer and Conservative politician in the House of Lords.
He was finally given full responsibility in 1984. He has been active for many years in his local branch of the Scottish National Farmers Union including serving nine years on the National Council. In 1997, he was President of the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society and has many rural interests.
