Hosianna Mantra is the third album by German band Popol Vuh. It was originally released in 1972 on the German record label Pilz. The album saw the band blend elements of Western classical music, Asian music, and space rock. [1]

The legendary Kraut band POPOL VUH was practically a moniker of one musician and composer, Florian Fricke, who passed away in 2001. This posthumous set of two cd's and a dvd contains a selection of solo piano tracks recorded between 1972 - 1989 and an unnarrated travelogue film shot in Tibet by Fricke and Frank Fiedler, plus its soundtrack.
