The Troad ( / ˈtroʊˌæd / or / ˈtroʊəd /; Greek: Τρωάδα, Troáda) or Troas ( / ˈtroʊəs /; Ancient Greek: Τρῳάς, Trōiás or Τρωϊάς, Trōïás) is a historical region in northwestern Anatolia. It corresponds with the Biga Peninsula ( Turkish: Biga Yarımadası) in the Çanakkale province of modern Turkey.
