Whittingehame is a parish with a small village in East Lothian, Scotland, about halfway between Haddington and Dunbar, and near East Linton. The area is on the slopes of the Lammermuir Hills . Whittingehame Tower dates from the 15th century and remains a residence.

Whittingehame Tower, or Whittingehame Castle, is a fifteenth-century tower house about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) south of East Linton, on the west bank of Whittinghame Water in East Lothian, Scotland. History and structure. Whittingehame Tower was built on lands belonging to the Cospatrick Earls of March.

Whittingehame House, built in the early 19th century, is a mansion set on the opposite (east) bank of the glen, facing south- west. The Tower is visible in the view from the main rooms of the house.

The arboretum contains many interesting specimen trees and together with the parkland, woodland and gardens, provides a very impressive setting for the category A listed Whittingehame House.
Whittingehame House ist ein Herrenhaus nahe dem schottischen Weiler Whittingehame in der Council Area East Lothian. 1971 wurde das Bauwerk in die schottischen Denkmallisten in der höchsten Kategorie A aufgenommen. Whittingehame es un pequeño pueblo entre Haddington y Dunbar, al sur de East Linton. La primera iglesia en el área fue establecida por St Cuthbert alrededor del año 660, cerca de Luggate (no se pueden ver restos de la iglesia). En 1225 se construyó una nueva iglesia en Whittingehame dedicada por el obispo de St Andrews el 7 de mayo de 1245.
