Agnes of Rochlitz Gertrude of Merania ( c. 1185 – 28 September 1213) was Queen of Hungary as the first wife of Andrew II from 1205 until her assassination. She was regent during her husband's absence.
About 1180, Berthold married Agnes of Rochlitz, [2] a daughter of Margrave Dedi III of Lusatia from the Saxon House of Wettin. They had: Otto I (d. 1234), [2] succeeded his father as Duke of Merania, married Beatrice II of Hohenstaufen, [4] daughter of Count Otto I of Burgundy, became Count palatine of Burgundy in 1211.
