The story follows the adventures of a group of friends in their hometown of Heartlake City. Characters 2012–2022 (Original) Lego Friends focused on 5 teenage girls who live in the fictional town of Heartlake City. Each character had a distinctive personality, illustrated by her favourite activities.
The original cast consisted of Andrea, Olivia, Stephanie, Mia and Emma. The theme was rebooted and relaunched in January 2023 to focus on a more diverse cast of characters, the main cast now consisting of Aliya, Nova, Zac, Liann, Paisley, Leo, Autumn and Olly.
LEGO Friends (TV Series) The LEGO® Group/LEGO® Systems A/S commissioned an CGI-animated television series to accompany the debut of the LEGO® Friends line in 2012. The animated television series is principally produced by the studio iterations of M2 Entertainment and Picture This Studio.
