Zhuo Qun Song (Chinese: 宋卓群; pinyin: Sòng Zhuōqún; born 1997), also called Alex Song, is a Chinese-Canadian who is currently the most highly decorated International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) contestant, with five gold medals and one bronze medal.

21 de jul. de 2015 · It all came down to number 1 for Zhuo Qun ”Alex” Song ’15, the top scorer at the 2015 International Math Olympiad recently completed in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and the first person ever to garner five gold medals.
Song is regarded as the most decorated mathematics Olympiad of all time and, unsurprisingly, it's the world of finance that snapped him up. For Song's internships, he opted for a rival buy-side firm, electronic traders Jane Street.

Zhuo Qun (Alex) Song is currently a graduate student in mathematics at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is a long-time coach for the Canadian Math Competitions programs and a problem proposer for the Canadian Open Math Challenge and the Canadian Math Olympiad.
