Hard Rain is the fifth (originally the fourth) campaign in Left 4 Dead 2, taking place after Swamp Fever. It is set in the riverside town of Ducatel, Mississippi (referred to as Milltown in the chapter title) as a hurricane approaches.

How difficult do you find Hard Rain to be? I find it pretty difficult even on Normal difficulty. I'm slow, the rain is loud, molotovs are practically useless, and it's genuinely the most terrifying campaign I have played in Left 4 Dead 2.

Hard Rain. Intro to Hard Rain. The boat we are travelling on has run out of fuel and so we have had to stop to get some more gas. Once we have it in hand we will make our way back to the docks and re-board the boat (which will be waiting just offshore for our signal).
