Joy is a perfume created for Parisian couturier Jean Patou by perfumer Henri Alméras in 1929. It is considered to be one of the greatest fragrances created and is a landmark example of the floral genre in perfumery. It is no longer produced.

22 de oct. de 2020 · Unfortunately, the death of the perfume line is now official, and you can see it on the Patou (they dropped the Jean) website, clear for everyone to behold (and weep about). Yes, you are reading it well: "Today, Jean Patou's fragrances are no longer in production."

The iconic fragrance, first launched in 1930 by the French luxury goods company Jean Patou, has endured through the years. Despite undergoing ownership changes, with Dior being the current owners, the production of Joy Perfume continues.
Jean Patou JOY was discontinued. I have read that the company and this brand was sold several times. Some question the authenticity of this perfume. I don't care if it is a copy or not if it smells like the original, which IMHO it does. This is my favorite fragrance ever - across all decades.
