Kon Kan is a Canadian synth-pop project conceived and formed in 1988 by Barry Harris in Toronto, Ontario. Kon Kan were awarded a 1990 Juno for the song " I Beg Your Pardon " and nominated for a 1991 Juno Award for the single " Puss N' Boots/These Boots Are Made for Walkin' ".

Canadian synthpop group. The band name is a play on the “Can(adian) Con(tent)” regulations on Canadian radio. Kon Kan was originally conceived as a one-off project for Barry Harris, but the success of “I Beg Your Pardon” and major-label interest convinced him to complete an album for Atlantic.

Barry returned as Kon Kan in 2014, Claimed Spotify's Kon Kan Artist page 2016, Reissued Kon Kan's 1994 "Vida" L.P. digitally 2020 (previously only released in Canada) & began writing new Kon Kan material in 2021 being released now in 2023!
