Wildlife Conservation Society. About Us. WCS's goal is to conserve the world's largest wild places in 14 priority regions, habitat for around 50% of the world’s biodiversity and a wide range of charismatic megafauna.
The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is a 501(c)(3) non-governmental organization headquartered at the Bronx Zoo in New York City, that aims to conserve the world's largest wild places in 14 priority regions.
Climate Crisis. Changes in climate jeopardize biodiversity and the health of entire ecosystems. Habitat Destruction. Logging, mining, burning: human encroachment destroys homes and havens for wildlife. We stand for wildlife.
Our mission to inspire, empower and enable wildlife professionals starts with giving you the resources to succeed. The Wildlife Society has opportunities and resources for everyone in the wildlife profession, and its supporters, who aim to advance wildlife science, management and conservation.
WCS is a non-profit conservation organization that saves wildlife and wild places worldwide. WCS delivers the full spectrum of nature conservation: from preventing loss to protecting and restoring ecosystems.
