    was an American children's television program created and produced by The Playfellow Workshop. It was The Playfellow Workshop's only production. Supposedly, its first episode aired on October 11th, 1969 and was broadcast to an unknown channel until its final airing sometime in 1974.

    primarily focused on the Neighbors, the colorful inhabitants of the show's Neighborhood, who each led their own animated breaks and illustrated story book segments. The setting itself was a colorful town with buildings like a post office and a bodega circled around a red house named Home. Each episode was the length of an in-show "day", with nighttime signifying the end of each episode.

    Episodes typically began with Wally introducing the focus or theme for the day before interacting with other Neighbors who would join him on his escapades until the end of the day. Each Neighbor had their own unique recurring segments throughout the show’s run, such as Eddie Dear's arts and crafts, Sally Starlet's plays, or Wally Darling's paintings. In the show, the viewer was regarded as an additional Neighbor, and would be spoken to by Wally regularly.

    is believed to have had a four year run before its abrupt pull from television in 1974 and complete silence from its creator company. Welcome Home’s seemed to shine brightly among other television programs at the time, particularly for its charming visuals, captivating stories, remarkable puppetry, and lively characters.

    •Clown chose the date of October 11th because it is National Coming Out Day, and being Queer is something important to him and a big part of the story of Welcome Home. They also like how October is Halloween's month.

    •At first the show was going to be called "The Neighborhood" instead, but since the project was called "Welcome Home" and this confused some people, the show was eventually called "Welcome Home" as well.
