Today we come to you with hearts heavy with sadness as we announce that Defiance and Defiance 2050 will officially cease all operations on April 29, 2021. This decision was not an easy one to make. We concluded that both games could no longer sustain themselves.
Defiance 2050 was a third-person shooter MMORPG developed by Trion World and released in 2013 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC systems, and later Xbox One and Playstation 4 as Defiance 2050 in 2018.
Today, with a heavy heart, we are sad to announce that Defiance and Defiance 2050 will officially cease all operations on April 29, 2021. We concluded both games could no longer sustain themselves.
