Marcella (TV series) Marcella is a British Nordic noir detective series, [1] [2] [3] written, directed and produced by Swedish screenwriter Hans Rosenfeldt, creator of The Bridge.
With Anna Friel, Ray Panthaki, Jack Doolan, Jamie Bamber. Marcella Backland left the Metropolitan Police for the sake of her family, only to have her husband leave her. She returns to her job on the murder squad, investigating a case that seems disturbingly familiar to her.
