Classiebawn Castle is a country house built for The 3rd Viscount Palmerston (1784–1865) on what was formerly a 4,000-hectare (10,000-acre) estate on the Mullaghmore Peninsula near the village of Cliffoney, County Sligo, in the Republic of Ireland.

It's a stunning sight, with Benbulbin as a backdrop and the ocean as a sideyard. I later found out that it's the former home of Lord Mountbatten, who was a mentor to Prince Charles and related to Prince Philip, and was killed when his boat was blown up by Northern Ireland terrorists.
