Carl Theodor Dreyer. Reconocido por cineastas como Ingmar Bergman como un referente imprescindible, Dreyer se inició en el mundo del cine como adaptador y guionista, pasando a la dirección en 1918. Su primera gran obra llegó en 1928 con La pasión de Juana de Arco.
