Helmuth Karl Bernhard von Moltke ( Parchim, 26 de octubre de 1800- Berlín, 24 de abril de 1891), también conocido como Moltke el Viejo para distinguirlo de su sobrino Helmuth Johannes Ludwig von Moltke (Moltke el Joven), fue un mariscal de campo alemán cuyo genio militar ayudó a convertir a Prusia en el Estado hegemónico en Alemania.
