She was born on November 7, 2020, at Polizu Clinical Hospital in Bucharest. She is also known as Maria Alexandra de Roumanie and is the first Romanian born member of the Romanian royal family in generations.

Her mother, Duchess Marie of Edinburgh (born Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna of Russia), was the only living daughter of Tsar Alexander II of Russia.
5 de nov. de 2015 · Queen Marie died at age 63 in the Romanian mountain resort of Sinaia after a prolonged illness, and she was buried alongside her husband in Curtea de Argeș.
