Prince Michael of Kent (Michael George Charles Franklin; born 4 July 1942) is a member of the British royal family who is 52nd in line to the British throne as of January 2024. The younger son of Prince George, Duke of Kent , and Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark , he is a grandson of George V , nephew of Edward VIII and George VI , and first cousin of Elizabeth II .

He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Cambridge graduate and actress Sophie Winkleman, whom he married in September 2009. Their have two daughters: Maud and Isabella. Lady Gabriella graduated from Brown University, Providence R.I. (majoring in Comparative Literature.)
