Here at New Westminster Schools we offer outstanding educational programs and services for international students, from single-semester to full graduation options.
Our learners are taught and supported by more than 1000 dedicated employees, including teachers, education assistants, clerical staff, crossing guards, maintenance, custodians and administrators. We have 12 schools: 8 elementary, 3 middle, and one secondary school.
School District 40 New Westminster is a school district based in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada. The school board serves the city of New Westminster, including the neighbourhood of Queensborough on Lulu Island.

In accordance with district procedures, international students are placed in the grade level corresponding to their year of birth. Elementary children live with a parent or authorized legal guardian while studying in Canada.
