Ahmed Tekuder ( Mongolian: Төгөлдөр, romanized: Tegülder, meaning “perfect”; Persian: تکودار) (c. 1246 – 10 August 1284), also known as Sultan Ahmad (reigned 1282–1284), was the sultan of the Persian -based Ilkhanate, son of Hulegu and brother of Abaqa. He was eventually succeeded by his nephew Arghun Khan .

Ahmed Tekuder, también conocido como el sultán Ahmad fue uno de los gobernantes del Ilkanato, de 1282 a 1284. Era hijo de Hulagu y hermano de Abaqa, y le sucedió Arghun, hijo de Abaqa. Aunque había sido bautizado como cristiano nestoriano al nacer , luego se convirtió al islam y cambió su nombre a Ahmed Tekuder.
A partir de entonces, Arghun acusó a los seguidores de Tekuder de haber envenenado a su padre, protestó por la conversión de Tekuder al islam y, a inicios de 1284, lideró una rebelión. Luego de algunos reveses, [1] logró destronar a Tekuder y lo ejecutó.

Tekuder was elected khan by the Chinggisids. Tekuder was the first Muslim ruler of the Ilkhanate but he made no active attempt to proselytize or convert his realm. However he did try to replace Mongol political traditions with Islamic ones, resulting in a loss of support from the army.
In 1282, Abaqa Khan's brother Tekuder, a convert to Islam, succeeded the throne. The Old Mongol party of Buddhists and Nestorian Christians opposed Tekuder, who started persecuting the Church of the East for siding with the Old Mongol party. Yahballaha was imprisoned, but his life was saved by Tekuder's Christian mother Qutui Khatun.
Tekuder is said to have been baptised in his youth with the name Nicolas ( Moshemii Historia Tartarorum Ecclesiastica, Helmstedt 1741, p. 71).
