- Requiem for a Heavyweight (Nelson, 1962) Por Edgar del Valle. Remake de una película de 1956, curiosamente con el mismo guion de Rod Serling (el mismo de la dimensión desconocida) y con el mismo director Ralph Nelson, se filma en 1962 esta película en donde el papel original estaba a cargo de Jack Palance ahora protagonizado por Anthony Quinn.
- Lust for Life (Minnelli, 1956) Por Edgar del Valle. Cinta biográfica sobre el pintor Vincent Van Gogh y su relación con otros artistas como Seurat, Monet, Pissarro y su mejor amigo: Paul Gauguin, interpretado por Anthony Quinn.
1. The Milky Way. 1936 1h 29m Approved. 6.5 (1.8K) Rate. Timid milkman, Burleigh Sullivan (Lloyd), somehow knocks out a boxing champ in a brawl. The fighter's manager decides to build up the milkman's reputation in a series of fixed fights and then have the champ beat him to regain his title.
After a brief apprenticeship on stage, Quinn hit Hollywood in 1936 and picked up a variety of small roles in several films at Paramount, including an Indian warrior in The Plainsman (1936), which was directed by the man who later became his father-in-law, Cecil B. DeMille.
