Stingrays are related to sharks and, just like their cousins, have a cartilaginous skeleton. All types of stingrays are classified into 8 families, and there are over 220 species of these rays.
Round ray stingrays are mostly brown in color and sometimes have a spotted or mottled look, and their undersides are an orangish-white color. They are also very hardy and become quite tame when found in captivity.

19 de jul. de 2021 · This unique ray is dark brown to golden brown on top, and white below, with a stout body and triangular ‘wings’. The distinct lobes on the front edge give it the name cownose, and the long sturdy tail has one or two serrated spines with mild venom.
