A cameo appearance, also called a cameo role and often shortened to just cameo (/ ˈ k æ m i oʊ /), is a brief guest appearance of a well-known person or character in a work of the performing arts.
Hitchcock's longest cameo appearances are in his British films Blackmail and Young and Innocent. He appears in all 30 features from Rebecca (his first American film) onward; before his move to Hollywood, he only occasionally performed cameos.

My list will focus on both types; however, if an actor is billed or is in multiple scenes those were not included. Actors who appear unexpectedly but in many scenes include Tom Cruise in “Tropic Thunder”.
