Duran Duran (/ dj ʊ ˌ r æ n dj ʊ ˈ r æ n /) are an English pop rock band formed in Birmingham in 1978 by singer Stephen Duffy, keyboardist Nick Rhodes and guitarist/bassist John Taylor.
