For more than 30 years, Griffith English Language Institute, Griffith University’s official English language provider, has been delivering English language programs to international students. We provide English language courses to over 1000 students a year, from more than 40 different countries.

Build your English skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking, and at higher levels, practise academic skills. You won’t need to submit an English test score if you complete this program at the English level needed for your chosen degree or diploma.

The Master of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) provides academic and pedagogical foundations for professionals who are or will be involved in work that focuses on the learning and teaching of English as a second or foreign language.
English Words and Grammar (2204LHS) With English fast becoming a global lingua franca, it is important to see the English language in cross-linguistic and cross-cultural perspective. 2204LHS looks into aspects of English words and grammar through the lens of modern linguistics.
