Where are Shelties from?
Shetland Sheepdogs get their name from the Scottish islands from whence the hail. They are believed to be bred from a mixture of Scottish Rough Collies, spaniels, and spitz breeds from 6th Century Icelandic Vikings.

There is just one type of Shetland Sheepdog, though they are technically a small version of the Rough Collie.
