Carolus Rex is the sixth studio album by Swedish power metal band Sabaton. It is a concept album based on the rise and fall of the Swedish Empire, whose monarch Charles XII gives it its title. It was released with both English and Swedish vocals.
Recorded in two separate versions – English and Swedish – this album is considered by many to be Sabaton’s masterpiece. 25 de may. de 2012 · Carolus Rex is Sabaton’s 2012 album, dealing with the rise and fall of Sweden as a Great Power in Europe, under both Gustavus Adolphus and Karl XII of Sweden (the titular ‘Carolus Rex’).
Album details, tracklist and artwork for CAROLUS REX! February 15, 2012. This album will be all about the Swedish Empire and for the first time ever we have had an expert to help us out with the theme, the well known Swedish historian Bengt Liljegren.
