Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee (May 27, 1922 — June 7, 2015) was an English actor, author, and singer who portrayed the wizard Saruman in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings (2001 - 2003) and The Hobbit (2012 - 2014) trilogies.
- Conoció a J.R.R. Tolkien. Sir Christopher fue el único integrante del elenco de ‘The Lord of the Rings’ que conoció al autor en su mejor momento. Todo ocurrió en un pub de Oxford (The Eagle and Child) cuando Lee era muy joven.
- Dominaba cinco idiomas a la perfección. Hablaba con fluidez en italiano, francés, inglés, alemán y español. También admitió ser “moderadamente competente” en sueco, ruso y griego…ah!
- El actor más prolífico y alto de la industria. Además de estar en el Libro Guinness de los Récords por ser el “actor principal más alto del mundo”, gracias a su 1,96 mts (6’5’’), Lee apareció en más de 250 películas, según IMBD; diez de ellas, interpretando a Drácula.
