John Cameron Fogerty (born May 28, 1945) is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. Together with Doug Clifford, Stu Cook, and his brother Tom Fogerty, he founded the swamp rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), for which he was the lead singer, lead guitarist, and principal songwriter.
Fogerty is a Grammy winner and has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as well as the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He is the only musician to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame for his song, “Centerfield,” a staple at baseball stadiums across the country.
John Fogerty is an American rock musician who has recorded both solo and as a member of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Fogerty has released ten studio albums between his debut album The Blue Ridge Rangers in 1973, to his most recent release, Fogerty's Factory, in 2020.
