Eric David Harris (April 9, 1981 – April 20, 1999) and Dylan Bennet Klebold ( / ˈkliːboʊld / KLEE-bohld; September 11, 1981 – April 20, 1999) were two American high school seniors and mass murderers who perpetrated the Columbine High School massacre at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999 in Columbine, Colorado.
On April 20, 1999, students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold murdered twelve students and one teacher at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. The massacre ended with both perpetrators committing suicide. Both Harris and Klebold were fans of Natural Born Killers. Prior to the massacre, they had used the initials 'NBK' as their code.
