30 de dic. de 2016 · OpenCobolIDE is a simple and lightweight COBOL IDE based on the GnuCOBOL compiler. The software is written in Python using PyQt5 (or PyQt4) and pyQode. Starting from version 4.7, OpenCobolIDE has entered in maintainance mode. No new features will be accepted, only bug fixes.
28 de mar. de 2024 · OpenCobolIDE is a simple cobol IDE based on the GnuCobol compiler. This program has a native cobol syntax highlighting, and code completion features. Also, it has a navigable tree view of division, sections, paragraphs etc., which are fully synchronized with the code folding panel.

GnuCOBOL implements a substantial part of the COBOL 85, X/Open COBOL and newer ISO COBOL standards (2002, 2014, 2023), as well as many extensions included in other COBOL compilers (IBM COBOL, MicroFocus COBOL, ACUCOBOL-GT and others).
30 de dic. de 2016 · This release is intended for those who install ocide from source on a platform that is very up to date (e.g. a rolling releases such as archlinux or KaOS). Other users don't need to install this release, there won't be any packages for Windows and OSX.
