Each year members of The Royal Family undertake engagements focussed on the Armed Forces commemorating those who have died in world wars and other conflicts. This year, events were led by The King for the first time following his Accession.
Remembrance Day (also known as Poppy Day owing to the tradition of wearing a remembrance poppy) is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War to honour armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.

28 de oct. de 2022 · On Sunday 13 November, the National Service of Remembrance will be held at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, central London. Starting at 11:00, the service will commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women involved in both world wars and later conflicts.
