The Graduate Diploma Art & Design prepares you for Master’s study at the RCA. We focus on developing proficiency in the independent learning methods and practices of art and design, and on introducing you to the role and influence of art and design in the world today.
As the world’s largest community of postgraduate-only art and design students, you will be part of a collective of inspirational creative peers opening up new opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration. The RCA offers a Graduate Diploma conversion programme and Master’s, MPhil, MRes and PhD degrees.
Visual Communication (MA) Graphic Design. About. The Graphic Design pathway considers the ways in which we refine, adapt and reinvent our practices within the complexities of contemporary global communications in a rapidly changing world.
MA Painting is thankful for the support of passionate individuals and charitable organisations who each create visible pathways into the RCA for talented students experiencing financial hardship, many of whom simply wouldn't be able to accept their place at the College without their generous support.
The Visual Communication programme challenges, transforms and situates contemporary creative practice in a global context. It expands the contribution of visual communication through an approach that values agency, experimentation and critical making.
